Project Summary: The Harrogate 47 project, led by Opus North and Bridges Fund Management, is creating a sustainable employment area near Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Covering 45 acres, it aims to provide 2,000 job opportunities by transforming empty land into productive industrial and commercial spaces. This initiative is expected to attract local businesses and outside investors, showcasing how environmentally friendly development can also boost the economy. Challenging ground conditions required cofferdam works for deep excavations and new access road required ground stabilization attributes within the constructions, however all trials have been overcome with ingenuity and a collaborative approach to working.
