Peak Project Management Delivers Two Cutting-Edge Pharmaceutical Facilities
We’re proud to announce the successful completion of two major pharmaceutical projects for our valued clients—Pharmaron and a confidential partner—demonstrating our continued commitment to excellence in project and cost management across the life sciences sector.
Pharmaron – Project Alpha, Estuary Banks, Liverpool
Peak Project Management played a pivotal role in the shell completion of Pharmaron’s new 220,000 ft² facility, designed to support next-generation biologics research and manufacturing.
The Peak PM team led the planning and execution of the shell phase, which included:
- Site preparation and enabling works
- Concrete basement, foundations, and structural steel framing
- Building envelope installation (roofing, insulated wall cladding, doors, and windows)
- Core utilities stubbed for future fit-out
- Associated external works
Despite ongoing supply chain and market challenges, the shell was delivered to specification, ensuring the facility is ready for its next phase: cleanroom and laboratory fit-out. This milestone marks a significant step forward in advancing pharmaceutical innovation in the region.
Confidential Client – AMS Facility, England
We also successfully delivered a state-of-the-art Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS) laboratory, following the transformation of an existing gym and undercroft area. With construction, installation, and commissioning now complete, this world-class facility will support pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical R&D, enabling both clinical and non-clinical metabolism programs.
Peak Project Management provided comprehensive Contract Administration and Cost Management services, including:
Contract Administration:
- Drafting and reviewing construction contracts and warranties
- Coordinating procurement strategies and tender processes
- Managing claims, extensions of time, and dispute resolution
- Ensuring contract compliance and supporting client reporting
Cost Management:
- Producing monthly cost reports and financial forecasts
- Managing change orders and variations
- Supporting value engineering initiatives
- Certifying payment applications and progress valuations
- Overseeing final account reconciliation and project closeout
These projects reflect our dedication to delivering high-quality, technically complex facilities that meet the evolving needs of the pharmaceutical industry. We thank our clients for their trust and collaboration, and we look forward to continuing to support innovation in life sciences.
