PEAK have been appointed as Project Monitoring Surveyor by OPUS North on this exciting commercial redevelopment in the heart of Leeds City Centre.
This is our first instruction from OPUS North and we look forward to working closely with the client team and other project stakeholders to assist in the successful delivery of this redevelopment.
Our reporting duties will include statements of compliance with the Building Contract providing early notification of any divergence and non-conformance along with quality statements. Additionally, advice will be provided on progress of works against construction programme to identify potential delay and assist on any necessary delay mitigation.
The redevelopment comprises the extensive refurbishment and remodelling of the existing office building to provide 53,000 sq ft of Grade A office accommodation, with additional roof terraces, and delivered to the highest standard including BREEAM Excellent.
Internal strip out works have been completed as an enabling package with planning submitted and determination awaited. Contract negotiations remain ongoing with GMI Construction with anticipated start on site Q4 2020 with 12-month contract period.
